To develop the ability to promote the experimental teaching of Physics. To adapt experimental activities of physics in the context of secondary education. To develop the ability to use new didactic resources in the physics teaching domain. Planning and executing experimental activities of different thematic units of classical and modern physics. The experiments will be performed in acontext adapted to the physics official programs of secondary school. Modern equipment like computers and graphical calculators will be used associated with sensors allowing for the automatic data acquisition aswell as traditional (manual) data acquisition.

A large diversity of data acquisition methods is encouraged. Data aquired is analized in different contexts maximizing the usefulness of experimental work. This methodology allows an articulated aproach of themes/concepts/principles. Considering specific aspects of performing experimental activities restraining their use in physics teaching in secondary school, the student is introduced to new didactic techniques allowing the execution of these activities in very short times. The multi-aproach to the same aquired data will be one of the goals of this course in order to maximize the usefulness of experimental work in the available time for the pedagogic practice.
