Learning goals
It is intended that students acquire skills in the use of global navigation and positioning systems
applied to solving problems from different areas, including cartography, cadastre, environmental monitoring and land use planning. The studies of Spatial Positioning Systems are thought taking into account the various methods positioning and navigation. In this sense, further study will be made of Spatial Positioning Systems, taking into account the various methods positioning and navigation. Observation and data processing techniques will be discussed according to the aims of the course, either on theoretical and on practical classes. It is intended that students know the particulars of application systems based on positioning services, alone or integrated with other sensors, for applications such as fleet control or emergency services. The fundamental theoretical concepts are presented in the lectures, that will be
